Building SynapticFox Through Short Edits
I’ve realized that short edits may be the best way to build SynapticFox right now.
A full AMV can take a long time to finish, especially when dealing with lost project files, copyright issues, and complicated scene choices. Short edits give me a faster way to create, practice, post, and improve.
Instead of trying to make every project huge, I can focus on small but powerful edits for TikTok, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms. These edits can still have emotion, timing, meaning, and impact, but they are easier to finish and share.
My goal is to make short edits that feel intense, emotional, and meaningful. I want the music and visuals to connect quickly. A strong short edit does not need to explain everything. It just needs to hit at the right moment.
Short edits can help me practice:
- beat timing
- scene selection
- visual effects
- transitions
- speed changes
- emotional pacing
- vertical video formatting
- posting consistently
This also gives SynapticFox more room to grow. Each short edit can become part of my portfolio, part of my social media presence, and part of the creative style I’m building.
Big AMVs are still something I want to make, but short edits may be the better path for now. They let me build momentum instead of getting stuck trying to make one perfect project.
